New Admissions

Accommodating new admissions:

A new admission must remain in isolation in their apartment for 14 days. This period can be shortened if they are tested for Covid-19 and present a negative result; the period will then be shortened to 10 days of isolation.

Transitioning into assisted living is never an easy thing to do. During this time of isolation, Pyareo Home will be able to provide a 2hr 1 on 1 daily service for the new resident. This caregiver will be there with your loved one daily for 2 hours to assist your parent, sibling, or friend, in any way they may need. They will also be there to assist in decorating their room to their particular liking, and will also be there as a welcoming companion during their transition.

Our nurse and Administrator will also visit the new resident regularly to check-in on how their transition is going and to see if any other accommodation can be made, while overseeing their physical health.

During the isolation period, the new resident will have daily access to make Skype/Zoom/Facebook video calls to their loved ones. All residents also have access to their own landlines in their apartments and may use their phones during any time of day, and however many times.

As we understand the fear and struggle of moving a loved one into a home, we are openhearted and open-minded to any suggested accommodations that we can feasibly make.
